. . . Restrooms?
Continuing the thread from the other day's post, here are some great commercials promoting breastfeeding - wherever baby needs to nurse. First from Canada:
And in a similar vein from Australia:
There are even more in this post from Peaceful Parenting. Enjoy!
Thank you for your kind comment! I was actually on your blog earlier today, but didn't comment then. Sometimes I read without commenting, but I'm visiting again to leave you one now : )
ReplyDeleteThanks for understanding. I have so much to say on the "knowing your options should a c-section arise" subject. It's nice to have a say in what happens to you and your baby after birth. Some women don't know that they can have a say in it and just let whatever happens happen. I try to get the word out that women do have choices and need to know what those choices are.
On your post above- that is completely how I felt when it came to nursing. I liked nursing wherever I happened to be when Baby was hungry. I loathed having to leave the room and sit by myself in an empty bedroom while at a party. My babies nursed all the time, so I really felt like I missed out. Most of the time I would just go ahead an breastfeed right in the middle of a party, but there were times when I would sit alone because I knew people around me were uncomfortable. It seems weird that society would treat breastfeeding babies that way, though. People get weird and awkward even when a breastfeeding woman isn't exposed at all! Something is just wrong about that.
