Thank you for posting this. I shared it on facebook too. People often ask me when I am going to wean my 16 month old. I usually reply, "not yet" or "i don't know" or "whenever she weans herself". Thankfully my husband is 100% supportive and backs me up whenever people turn to him and say things like "you are going to LET her keep doing this?" as if he disagrees and has some say in the matter. Whenever I nurse my toddler I can't imagine how people could do anything else. Establishing a health normal nursing routine took 9 months. I had oversupply problems, weight gain problems, foremilk to hindmilk problems, latch problems, and diet problems to overcome. Nursing isn't always easy, but I wouldn't have done it any other way. I still don't think those problems were really that hard to deal with, it just took time and patience. Frankly, our society could do well with a little bit more of both.
That video is FANTASTIC, thank you for sharing it!
